GB Standard Stainless Steel Gate Valve

The durable GB standard stainless steel gate valve manufactured by JQF Valve is made of stainless steel. The valve seat sealing surface is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), stainless steel + hard alloy, or surface-treated hard alloy. The packing is made of hard alloy, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), asbestos, or flexible graphite. The nominal size is DN15～DN800, the working pressure is 1.6MPa～20.0MPa, and the applicable temperature is ≤200℃. It is suitable for pipelines carrying nitric acid and weakly corrosive media.

Key Precautions:

1. Pre-installation Inspection: Confirm the compatibility of valve material with fluid medium, temperature, and pressure. Inspect the durable GB Standard Stainless Steel Gate Valve end face for scratches. Ensure the gasket material meets the usage requirements and confirm that the bolts/nuts meet strength requirements.
2. Installation Alignment: Do not force alignment. Misalignment can lead to valve seat deformation, leakage, or structural stress. Support the piping independently near the valve. Tighten the bolts gradually in a star-shaped sequence until a uniform torque is achieved. After the system has run for 24-48 hours, retighten the bolts.
3. Operating Procedures: The high quality GB Standard Stainless Steel Gate Valve should be fully open or fully closed—partial opening will accelerate the erosion of the valve seat/plate by high-speed fluid. Operate only using the handwheel; never use a wrench/lever. The valve stem must be lubricated quarterly.
4. Testing and Maintenance: After installation, before system commissioning, a static pressure test should be performed on the GB Standard Stainless Steel Gate Valve at 1.5 times the PN rated pressure. During testing, the valve should be isolated from downstream equipment.
5.Storage and Handling: Valves should be stored indoors and protected from moisture. Before installation, the end caps should remain in the installed position.
